Build your first outpost, upgrade the Operations Center, and understand how building progression differs from Tech Tree research.
Construction
Rotate buildings
Use V or the left and right arrow keys to rotate a building, and check the correct Building bindings in Controls.
Water Supplier placement
Place a Water Supplier on buildable land in the water overlay, then connect power and blue Water Pipes to the buildings that need it.
Job & task queue
Move an urgent construction job to the front of the Job Queue and keep Utility Crew available to carry out the work.
Resources
Food production & supply
Turn Biomass into Food Proteins, load them through the Cargo Landing Pad, and keep the U.S.S. Resonant supplied.
Sarium Crystals
Identify a Crystal Deposit on Daegus and use Collect Sarium Crystals at a Crystals Extractor to obtain Sarium.
Kourou metal supply
Check unexplored areas for metal and plan manual resupply from Daegus, with travel access and cargo handling checked before departure.
